Two normal lovers.
Two lovely daughters.
One true love.
One painful and common heartbreak.
At least, they have special M E M O R I E S

The sun rays peeked through the curtains making Livia grimace. If there's one thing she actually hated, it was to wake up in the morning, no matter what time it was, or how many hours she had slept. She heard footsteps in the hall way running, the noise getting louder and louder, and she quickly realized her room would soon be intruded by laughters and screams. Her sleeping time was over way before its time, but she was used to it.
The door cracked open and not even a second later, she was sitting in her bed, completely awaken as her two daughters jumped around on the mattress, messing up the sheets and covers. She rubbed her eyes and yawned, wishing she could just fall back into the arms of Morpheus but it was useless hopes.
"Mom!" Florence, her oldest, expressed. "I'm hungry!"
"Me too!" her youngest followed, her straight blond hair flying around her gorgeous round face.
They kept on jumping, making Livia smile as she shook her head in despair. When Florence fell back next to her, she grabbed her and started tickling her as the little girl screamed. Fée, her second daughter, jumped on her back, putting her small arms around her neck to save her big sister. Laughters invaded the room as they three of them played for some minutes until the two young girls lied down, exhausted, a smile spread on her thin heart-shaped lips.
"Pancakes?" Livia proposed.
"Yes! I love pancakes!" Florence informed with happiness, throwing her little arms in the air.
"Me too!"
"Good!" Livia laughed some more. "Go downstairs to get the stuff out of the fridge, I'm coming."
She watched the two blond heads run downstairs and lied back down on her side of the bed. The white sheets were still cold against her skin and she ran her palm on her right side. His side of the bed. She was not used to take as much space as she wanted, and she wasn't ready to sleep right in the middle. Something inside of her didn't want to let go. Something wasn't right. Without him, there was something missing, and the nights were the worst moments of the day.
Despite this, she put on a smile in her face and fought the tears coming to her eyes. She had to be strong for Florence and Fée. She couldn't just let her weaknesses show. It was not a pain she could share with her daughters, and they were already hurt enough by this soon-to-be divorce. It was something she had to deal with on her own, no matter how hard it was. She just wanted her kids to be happy... and if she could be happy too in the process, it would be a bonus.
